The implementation of such models leads to increased accountability among stakeholders across the value chain, create new end markets for recycled plastic, and empower IPWRS stakeholders. The toolkit is a guide to help businesses and other relevant stakeholders to take actions to integrate informal IPWRS workers into the formal plastics recovery value chain.

This document aims to encourage manufacturers, convertors, brands and retailers operating in India, and who manufacture or use PET beverage bottles, to use rPET.
